The world is on the verge of collapsing due to regional and global tensions but the American President Barack Obama doesn't look very interested. The recent brutal executions of two American citizens in Syria are the last episodes that testify the ISIS strength in the Mideast. The reaction of Obama, besides pure rhetoric and empty words, is negligible and insulting. I pray God for the other people detained by these beasts and hope they will return back to they families soon.

The so called Arab Spring was the beginning of a tremendous destabilization of the entire Middle East, including Lybia, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and so on.
What we should absolutely be aware of is that ISIS is the result of Obama policies in Iraq, and the decision (against military commanders' opinions) to withdraw all troops from the Iraqi soil. That gave freedom of action to Muslim terrorists with the consequences we all know.

The other major concern regarding foreign policies is what is happening next to the European border in Ukraine, where Russian troops are literally conquering the Eastern part of the Ukrainian country.

Obama once again proves himself to be not very conscious of the real mess we have around the world.

The worst part of this is the real threat that Muslim terrorists could have already passed the border with Mexico and be free to move on the American soil, and once again thanks to Obama policies on immigration.

The question we have to ask is why is Obama acting so?
Is that because he is still a greenhorn politician, incapable to define a efficient strategy? Or maybe that's exactly his strategy, delivering empty speeches with no consequences conscious of what's going on and secretly whispering I really don't give a damn! Muslims terrorists aren't worse than the dictators these Countries had before, let's make the public opinion feel I'm really doing something even if it's not the case.

Recent military operations in Iraq are useless if we don't destroy ISIS terrorists back to Stone Age, Obama unfortunately isn't willing to finish the job.

It has been a few days since Sec. of State John Kerry declared that Israel is becoming an 'apartheid' country. These remarks once again confirm that this administration is run by incompetent people at every single level, and are posing a serious threat to the United States authority around the world. John Kerry has been a controversial figure since he took office in 2013, and managed the latest international crisis in Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Egypt, like a greenhorn.
This guy wasted so much money flying one side to the other of the Atlantic Ocean and ended up every single crisis making a fool of himself and disgracefully of the US government. When Obama decided to raise the attention over the Syrian crisis, and make sure to cover his 'domestic' problem with Obamacare implementation, sent his loyal, and not very clever, Secretary of State to the Middle East with terrible results: the United States looked so bad to the international community that Putin in comparison earned a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize!

The reality is that this Administration looks everything but friendly to Israel, helping all the numerous Nations who are publicly threatening our best Ally in the Middle East

In this year of elections one of the major race will take place in Florida. It sounds a bit strange but former governor and former republican Charlie Crist is trying to beat his opponent and once ally Gov. Rick Scott. Crist's life has been full of weird turncoats and it looks like we are facing a major case of addiction to power and political offices. Charlie Crist has never believed in small government, common sense agenda and he is used to switch position on every single issue as long as it makes him appear more 'likable'.
Just to make some examples I want to remind you his historical about abortion. In 1998 he ran for the US Senate as a Pro-choice candidate. With the consistency that distinguishes him in 2010 he ran an unsuccessful campaign as a Pro-life Republican. After losing the primary to Marco Rubio he than switched back to his former position. In 2008 he endorsed John McCain in the primary season and in the General Election. In 2010 after losing to Marco Rubio, both in the primary race and on the election day, he left the Republican party with a pout and self-proclaimed an Independent.
His numerous inconsistent positions culminated in his decision to support Barack Obama in the general election in 2012 (he was one of the speakers at the DNC convention).
The final blow to his credibility was given by his decision to join the Democratic Party in December 2012.
Last year, his nostalgia for political offices manifested in his candidacy for Governor of Florida.
We really can't say he doesn't have the chutzpah!

Big news for the American people: listening to what president Obama declared in his annual State of the Union sounds like we are at a turning point and finally economy is recovering... is it the truth?

Today the news media reported that the US economy grew at a very modest rate of 1.9% in 2013. That's weaker than the previous year, this  means economy is probably slowing down. But the best part has yet to come.

In the last 5 years labor force shrank like never before: 91.8 million people are not in the labor force anymore. The participation rate reached its minimum since 1978, and that's how the White House is able to state that unemployment is going down, that's because more and more people gave up looking for a job.

As we are waiting for the annual SOTU, a lot of speculations are going around and Barack Obama is probably going to address income inequality in his 5th State of the Union Speech.
It is well known that under Obama Presidency income inequality has worsened, but I just want to remind you a couple of significant numbers.

How income inequality is measured

Income inequality is measured confronting the difference between America’s median and average wages. If average goes up faster than the median, it means income inequality is worsening, otherwise it's getting better.

Bush vs Obama

Under Bush Presidency income inequality has grown at a rate of 0.28, on the contrary Obama's policies have increased the rate to an alarming rate of 1.14, four times higher!

What to do

Obama's speech is going to be pure rhetoric, but nevertheless income inequality in the USA is the worst in the developed world so something has to be done. Once again I want to mention a famous quote from William Boetcker's 'The Ten Cannots':
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.
You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
You cannot build character and courage by destroying men's initiative and independence.
And you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.
It is important to focus on creating wealth, to make people getting out of poverty. You cannot fight income inequality just by increasing taxes and spreading wealth. People must be given the opportunity to be successful and create wealth on their own.
